Warmth and allure for that ultimate holiday feeling

An impressive villa was realized a few years ago in an absolute top location, in the middle of this unique place. Design studio NOW.A was able to merge the wishes of the client and the seamless
connection of the interior and the exterior with its own signature in a very skilful way.
In addition to the stately entrance with spacious staircase and spectacular loft at the front, the house has a side entrance that provides access to a luxurious mutility room, designed and made in
collaboration with us. The sleek, white character produces a beautiful image. In addition, the space is also very functionally furnished.
DESIRE FOR PERFECTION
A little further into the house is the spacious kitchen. In a powerful conjunction, the functions of eating, cooking and having drinks flow seamlessly into one another. “The residents really wanted to work with Culimaat, explains Philip Eskes, owner of NOW.A Design Studio. “That collaboration turned out to be a hit. We found each other in the pursuit of perfection. In addition, designers and co-owners of Culimaat, Twan and Davy, were constantly thinking and desgning in collaboration with us, which was very nice.”
In our design process we are driven by the search for unique things and refinement. We also like to come up with exclusive material applications. For example, for the cladding of this island, a new application has been developed with the innovative Peltrox® material, which is produced in Italy especially for Culimaat. In addition, we played with the lines of the island, which ensures a beautiful layering and enhances the rich appearance of the kitchen.
IT NEVER GETS BORING
The many ingenious technical applications, such as the construction of the floating top of the island, show the sophisticated design process that preceded the realization of this kitchen. For example, the island’s light Corian® worktop seems to pop out of its dark casing. To create extra legroom, the element has been equipped with the well-known ‘Culimaat B.M. elevator’. Behind the island a beautiful cupboard wall is made of oak with a light gold speck that provides a subtle glow. The niches are decorated with Italian marble in a combination with Peltrox®. The many bronze details are also special: even the equipment is finished in a bronze colour.
“Every detail has been considered and matched in the design process,” says Davy. “This has created a sophisticated image that fits in very nicely with the overall interior. It was a fun process, the collaboration with NOW.A leaves us wanting more.” “Everything was negotiable, nothing was too crazy,” Philip adds. “This attitude is the reason you can create
something as unique as this kitchen.”
